betyl : Almost everyone sees a simple classic solitaire. The filagree is a hidden dainty detail that some people might see if they look at the ring from a certain angle. For instance, had I not posted the second picture or said anything about it, you most likely would have been none the wiser.
I consider minimalism to be a relative term that covers a wide spectrum, and everyone may have a slight difference in their interpretation of the word.
I do respect your opinion though, so I’ll amend my comment- for all intents and purposes my ring appears minimalistic to most people, however, there is a tiny hidden detail you may see.
