Admittedly sometimes I’m a bit of a plain Jane when it comes to accessories etc — I’ve decided to go with a minimalist look for accesories on my wedding day. I just love how classic and uncluttered it looks – here are some examples:
Gabrielle Union – Wearing simple studs
Kim Kardashian – same as above only studs
Any bees have a minimalist look they want to share?

I am just wearing small halo diamond stud earrings (borrowing from FMIL), and a thin delicate platinum and diamond bracelet I’m pretty sure is coming as a gift from Fiance. No necklace.
My dress has lots of intricate beading up top, and I’m wearing a small floral crown so I really just don’t want to overdo it!
and id like all the jewelry to be fine because I feel like it’s an instant heirloom if it’s involved in the wedding day. I hope to wear the delicate bracelet daily after that 🙂

Mine was pretty simple: I wore a simple pearl and diamond necklace, and a pearl and diamond bracelet, no earrings (I don’t have pierced ears any more unfortunately; if I did I’d have gone with pearl or diamond studs), and then a ring my OH bought me as my ‘something blue’:
My dress has quite a lot of ‘bling’ around the bust area, so I wanted to keep the accessories fairly simple and understated; my veil was also very simple (single-tier church length with no embellishment), though I had a bling hair slide/comb for the evening when I took the veil off:

I have very classic/simple taste and Ive never seen d.wades wedding pics. I am loving Gabrielles whole look. I just found some serious inspiration! I also love kate bosworths look, so timeless.

Yes! her look is definitely what I’m going for. My dress is lace so it doesnt have bling but I really just want it to stand out in it’s own right.

I’m going for a minimalist look too. I plan to wear earrings in all of my 7 earring holes though lol (but my hair will be down so it doesn’t matter, and they’ll all be studs!). No necklace, just my rings and bracelet.
Nothing in my hair except the veil for the ceremony. And I’m not going crazy with makeup either.

I didn’t do much for accessories. My dress had an illusion neckline very similar to this one: http://www.kissthedress.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Pronovias-2013-Ballgown-Illusion-Neckline.jpg
All I wore was my e-ring, and my pearls that DH had given me as a birthday present – basic necklace, studs, bracelet. Makeup was a little more than I usually wear, but I did it myself and don’t like a lot so it was still much less than many people. Veil was a tulle chapel length clip in. I wore my mother’s dress, so I wanted the focal point to be that with all its pretty lace and the classic design, rather than the accessories.
I loved how it came out because I looked pretty but I still looked like me 😉

- Wedding: September 2014 - Dallas, TX
I wore minimalist accessories. Just pearl drop earrings, a very small diamond necklace, a dainty diamond bracelet and a diamond cocktail ring at the reception. I did wear a jeweled belt, but I felt even that was on the dainty side.

I am a true minimalist through and through! My dream dresses all are extremely simple (no beading, no lace) and even with such a simple dress, I would only wear pearl studs. Maybe I’d throw in my DBTY necklace if the neckline ends up needing a little sumthin sumthin, but other than that, that’ll be it. Gabrielle Union’s look is pretty spot on for me.
I’m sure many would find it boring/would find my style in general boring, but I wouldn’t feel like myself with much more!

My dress is very simple, i got a rhinestone belt to jazz it up a little. For jewlery I’ll be wearing the diamond studs and diamond key necklace that I always wear. My boquet will just be lavender stock.

You looked lovely. I love your dress and your eyes are very pretty.
Also OP, I’m all for minimalism. If it makes you feel good and comfortable, go for it.

not wearing any jewerly except the wedding rings – no earrigns, necklace, headband, or bracelet or other rings. simplest way to be minimalist is to wear nothing. you and your dress (and maybe veil) will be beautiful on its own.

I didn’t wear a veil… no necklace. I worse crystal drop earrings and had a few crystals in my hair. I feel like I went minimalist!

Ya, I was pretty minimalist too and I still love the way it looks now! It’s really just my everyday style, I’, not a big fan of over the top clothing & accessories- I much prefer simple classics that can do double duty… I really just wore simple starfish stud earrings and a bracelet from my grandma…

MeandMyLouboutins: I plan on wearing Pearl earring my mom gave me for christmas a couple years ago, Borrowing my Great Grandmothers diamond earrings. My dress has a lot of beadwork so i may do a simple pearl necklace (matches earrings) or nothing at all because i am switching into a necklace with my new monogram on it for the reception.
