We are looking at photographers and found one that does AMAZING work for a reasonable cost. She is rather young and new to photography, so she doesnt charge a whole lot for her work.
The packages she sent over included 2 photographers and 6 hours of coverage; however, it mentions “you will receive a minimum of 450 pictures”.
Is this lower than usual? I just want to make sure we have enough pictures.

450 good pictures is pretty good. And 450 is the minimum, so you’ll likely get more. Sometimes I find the photographers that give 700+ images are literally the same picture edited 3 different ways, or 100 pictures of decor, so that shouldn’t be an indicator about getting better pics.
If you have certain things you absolutely want pictures of, give her a list. Random things like – great grandmas earrings with my bouquet; dad seeing me for the first time; etc. They’ll get all the essentials (walking down the aisle, first dance), but if there is something else important that you want to ensure you get, let her know.

I think that’s a very average/fair number. We got a little over 500 back from mine and they really covered everything.

That seems about right to me. We got 350 pictures with 4 hours of coverage, and had more that we knew what to do with.

I got 150 pictures. When you think about it, how many could you possibly need? As long as the ones you get are good, not poorly done, and they don’t miss key events, you’re all set. I’d rather 150 or 450 adequate shots only than 3000 I have to pick through to find the good ones!
