@mjoyelle:  Oh I know they are! Haha, it’s just one of my pet peeves!

I don’t like using the term hubby at all. DH is fine. Hubs, maybe. I love using husband. Generally, however, I just call him “Muh”. I don’t know when it started or where the rest of the syllables of his name went, but “muh” is my pet name for him. If I use his full name, then he’s in trouble. 😉

He doesn’t really call me by anything, it’s just, “HEY!”, or nowadays, “hey wife!”. I could probably count on my hand the number of times I’ve heard him say my name, and it kind of weirds me out when he does.

@FatherTed:  “Give him the panties” or “the cookie”?! LOL!!!!! I’ve never heard of these phrases! Too funny. Smile

@Cornflakegirl:  there are so many of them! It’s not a “hoo ha” or a “pee pee”, it’s a vagina or a penis. If I keep hearing it, I get all sanctimonious and start to feel like people who use these expressions aren’t mature enough to be having sex.

I hate it when men refer to their g/fs, wives etc as their ‘missus’. Do they not warrant a name?!

man, thought I was the only one…I never use it unless forced. Also I don’t like wifey…both terms imply to me sort of pseudo marriage…because of the fact that they are used among unmarried people as terms of endearment towards their boyfriend/girlfriend, etc.

My sister and her husband use it all of the time as a “cutesy” thing. I inwardly cringe with a “dude, seriously?” every time, but to each their own, as long as my bf/fh doesn’t!
