I know a few people that get these and love them. My Maid/Matron of Honor gets these done every couple months. They look natural and she doenst ever have to wear mascara. I am getting these done for my wedding!

Making84:  My boss actually does eyelash extensions, from xtreme. To be honest… They are pretty freaking awesome! I never thought I would say that when I first started working here.

Can get up and go, and I don’t feel like I need to put any makeup on

They look fabulous, and last for quite a while before you need a refill

They are totally customizable, at least the kind my boss uses are, they range from 6-17 mm

They can be irritating if you have a lot of allergies

You have to keep up with them (no excessive rubbing, water, etc.)

Depending on when you have them done, they may look too sparse before your next refill.

Making84:  I use 3D lash which is a silk lash, they are very light and natural looking.  I’m not sure which brand is better to have put on but 3D lash does have a low fume glue which is preferred by  people with sensitive eyes. The lashes last  3 weeks before you need a fill, the application can take up to an hour and a half. They do not wreck your natural lashes, the extensions fall off when you naturally shed your own.

I have heard of nova lash. Nova lash and 3d lash only train certified estheticians,  extreme lash will train anyone. In my personal opinion I would stay away from extreme lash, someone who has trained with 3d or nova lash has local support and are not certified until they have done many sets properly.

Have you considered trying Latisse? This stuff is the shit, I love it. Then they’re your own lashes and don’t come off or need special care like eyelash extensions do.

I second the motion for Latisse. I’ve been using it since last June and I absolutely love it. If you get it, don’t worry about hte price (around $104) because I’ve made it last three months vs the one month. Don’t use the applicators that coem with it (they’re the size of nail polish brushes) and buy the cheap $3 Elf eyeliner brush at Target. It’s the perfect size to apply without wasting any. Simply put a drop into the top of the cap (on the outside, there’s a little dip!), and go from there. I use one drop for both eyes with this method and have had amazing results. well worth the investment!

Making84:  I had them done at Xlash last September and loved them.  I think its around Yonge/Lawrence if I’m not mistaken.

I had really natural looking lashes done, they were just slightly longer than my natural lash and made them denser (and darker, I’m fair and my eyelashes are not naturally very dark.)  I am definitely getting them done for my wedding in February (I’ll get a little more dramatic look.)

I didn’t get them refilled (I tried it with a groupon, so I also didn’t pay much!)  And I let them fall out on their own, it was fine.  That may be due to the fact that I didn’t get a really dramatic look.

I am getting a set put on for my October wedding. Ill try it out in September and get a full after for the wedding to make sure I like it. My Bridesmaid or Best Man always gets them done and her lashes always looks amazing.

Its t’s probably not something I want to spend the money on to constantly have but for the wedding and honeymoon it’s a worthy splurge for me.
