Since I was stuck on what to do for a favor for a long time, I thought I’d share the favors that I ended up doing.
I got married here in France (with predominantly French guests) and I wanted to give them a little bit of American candy (though technically I guess Altoids are english!) with a fun play on words (very much the thing to do here in France too). The usual French favors are “dragees” which are hard almond candies, blah, yuck.
I got the idea from Martha Stewart, but tailored it to my colors and my printing capabilities (namely, only wanted to print black and white).
I also put together some small lavender sachets as a “merci beaucoup!” departing gift but that was easy peasy.

Good job! I like this idea. My guests will probably find this favor ‘useful’ and would last a lot longer than chocolate 🙂

@julesrulesparis: Such a cute idea! If you don’t mind me asking, how much is that going to cost you? Where did you buy them in bulk? Thanks! 🙂

I bought the altoids at Costco. They come 12 to a pack for $14 if I remember correctly.
the rest of the supplies I got a Michael’s craft store. Michael’s runs 40% or 50% coupons all the time so I got the punch set for $12 and the card stock paper were also on sale, for a total of about $4 for the cardstock. Foam tape was another $1.
So basically very economical! 🙂
