I used them, and I should be getting my invites tomorrow.  I will be honest, I used the live chat customer service thing at first and it was so unprofessional I got them to take alot of money off what I ordered.

I still used them becuase I need it done and couldn’t see any invites I liked better than the ones I picked. I CANNOT wait to see them!!

I’ll let you know tomorrow about paper quality?

I got rsvps and invitations.

I ordered our Save-The-Date Cards through minted.com and they worked out fine. Quality worked for us but ours did not have photo’s incorporated. We had no issues with the process. Sorry I don’t have much more to add, but we didn’t encounter any issues, it was very straightfoward and edits to the proofs were easily handled with no issues for us. 🙂

I really love our save the dates and invitations from Minted. We didn’t do photos for either, so I’m not sure about the quality of photo invitations… but we are really thrilled with our Save-The-Date Cards and invites. I also wound up calling them a few minutes after approving the final proofs because my mom had a meltdown over some of the wording, and they were able to catch the order before it was printed and make the change. (Despite the strongly worded “once you click accept, no backsies” language all over the place.)

We used them for our Save-The-Date Cards which used our engagement photos and they turned out fantastic. I was really happy with them.

@AmandaShea8:  probably, it was totally unreal, like I felt I was being punked. I had one question, and it turned into me being transferred three times, with one rep saying “what…I totally spaced out sorry”.

So odd,

after that it worked out though, and I’ll let you know when I get them today.

@AmandaShea8:  I used Minted for my save-the-dates and they came out pretty well – the basic paper option they offer was fairly sturdy, and the colors (mostly blues) came out nice. You just have to make sure you use a very high-res photo – I used one that wasn’t professional and while it’ll work, it doesn’t look that great!

I got samples from minted, so I can only speak on paper quality. It was really nice, thick paper; I was definitely a fan! I got a sample of the pearlescent paper and the recyled paper too and they were also great

We got our Save the Dates from them.  It worked out in the end and I love the final product, but it was a huge pain to get there and that’s the main reason we bought our invitations from someone else (William Arthur).  Definitely buy extras because we got weird black dots on some of the prints.  I didn’t want to send those out and luckily had enough extras.  They also messed up the proofs multiple times and didn’t follow my instructions.  We had 6 proofs in total but they luckily never charged me for them.  They totally ordered the wrong number of envelopes though and charged me a fortune for the extras.

Like I said, it was really a big pain.  But the Save the Dates were very unique and did come out nicely.  We went with the pearlescent paper, and I definitely think that’s the nicest kind they offer.  Be wary of the random black ink spots though!!  I think that must be from their printing process though, not the paper itself.  Buy extras!

I got our STD from Minted, and although I am pleased with the final process, I was a little annoyed along the way. My first set of proofs had totally wrong wording on them, when I asked about it, they said it may have defaulted to an earlier draft that I had saved, and not the most recent draft. I had to pay additional $$ for another set of proofs. I think it was $25, or something. Anyway, wasn’t so happy about that.

But I had a Gilt coupon and they had a free shipping discount, so I went for it. In the end, the paper quality is nice and they look good.

I will be getting my invites from Esty/Cards & Pockets though. To get everything I want from Minted, my ivites would cost nearly $1,000, and that’s just too much.

I LOVED our Save-The-Date Cards and felt the quality was excellent on both printing and paper. However, my box showed up smashed in on corner and despite being wrapped in bubble wrap, one of the corner was a little smashed in. If I would have made a fuss, I bet they would have refunded part of it, but I’m pretty low maintenance so it wasn’t a big deal. They have super whimsical/hip designs though and we’ll probably use them for our invites.

You can order the paper sample kit for weddings

http://www.minted.com/wedding-invitations

Shows you what the colors look like on paper, the actual different types of paper, and fonts. Very helpful.
