Huh.  I’ve never heard of these before.  Is the internet the only place to get them?  What about a place like GNC?

a friend tried them… he did the tablet things. he said it was fun and interesting, but warned that acidic things will eventually give you a sore throat & upset stomach… you won’t be getting the taste cues that you’re eating too much acid, so you might not think to stop. so be aware of that if you try it.

There is a guy in Ft. Lauderdale who grows them commercially.  You can find his contact information here.  Smarty and I took a guided nature hike a few years ago and tried them then.  It was interesting!  I didn’t know they were sold in pill form, too.
