@joleegirl:  This could be serious … or it could be nothing.  Best bet, call your doctor and ask to speak with someone pronto.  Better safe than sorry.

@joleegirl:  This is totally possible. it’s actually pretty common that people miscarry and don’t even know, especially early on in a pregnancy when they might not realize.

Either way, good luck TTC! I hope you have a BFP soon!

Yes it could’ve been a chemical pregnancy, which is a very early miscarriage. I’m sorry you are going through this and I hope you feel better soon. What did the “stuff” look like? It would be extremely early for there to be anything of substance in there, but a gestational sac would be greyish tissue. These boards are a great place to get to know all the ins and outs of trying to conceive and pregnancy. I hope you don’t have to wait too long for your healthy baby!

@joleegirl:  yes it’s possible. you should def call your doctor! When I MC the cramps were the most painful thing I have EVER experienced…. I mean cursing up and down, screaming… They were awful!

@joleegirl:  It’s possible that you had a miscarriage but if your period is only a week late, I wouldn’t think such an early MC would cause such terrible cramping etc. I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks (which is one week after AF should have been due) and it didn’t feel a whole lot different than a regular period to be honest. If I hadn’t tested when I missed AF, I would have never known that I was pregnant.

Regardless of whether it was a MC or not, you should probably contact your doctor just to see what’s going on.
