@AlmostHisWife:  I will take a stab here and say it might too soon for your period to be coming back, but from what I’ve read I don’t think it is too early for you to be ovulating. Do you have any other symptoms besides the cramps? The nurse at the early pregnancy loss clinic said that I might have some breakthrough bleeding or some minor cramps in between so I am sure it is normal. I guess we just have to wait. It sucks!

I’m so sorry for your loss. With both of my miscarriages, I ovulated on the cycle right after the bleeding- perfectly on time with the first loss and a few days late with the second loss. I was still spotting from the miscarriages during both ovulations. (both ovulations were confirmed by an OPK and o-pains)

I’m so sorry for your loss.  It is such a difficult thing to go through at any stage of the pregnancy.  When I had a miscarriage last year, it took almost 2 months for me to get my period again.  I had to take Misoprostol though to induce the miscarriage since it wasn’t happening naturally, so that could have been why it took me so long to get my period.

Good luck and I hope things work out for you soon.

I have a question for you bees, a few months ago, I was feeling very strange. I got my period on time but remember having very bad cramps, and then I saw this gray looking tissue come out. I thought nothing of it, but looked very different to what I had sen before. I was sure I was not pregnant that cycle even thought we did have unprotected intercourse 5-6 days before ovulation. I even tested a few days before my period, and it came out negative. I kept that test somewhere, and whe I looked back at it, it showed a very faint second line. I never went to the doctor, but could it be that I was indeed pregnant?

So sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage in early January and didn’t get a period until early March…so just about 2 months. And that period was terrible! Lots of cramps and it was heavy. Now I’m not even sure if I’m ovulating. So frustrating 🙁
