They don’t seem to go together that well, honestly. I have a mixed-metals set, but both rings are the same width and have the same profile, so they go together well (at least…I think so!). I know they both have sentimental value though, and if YOU love it, that’s all that matters! You could also wear the gold one on your right hand, if you decided you didn’t love them side-by-side. Let us know what you decide! Here’s mine, so if you hate it you’ll know we just have different tastes haha.

I love mixed metals!  I think I would wear the white gold band on the top though, as it hugs your finger a bit tighter so I think it would look like more of a ‘stack’ that way – does that make sense?

@ehobbs13:  I think it’s fine. It’s a cute story. I see lots of women with mismatched rings and I always figure there must be a story behind it. It’s intriguing and very human.

@VeggieBee:  You’re right about putting the all-metal band on top. In addition to making a more natural looking “stack” I assume the diamond one is the wedding ring, which traditionally is supposed to be “on bottom”. I’d be interested to see what that looks like.

Eh, honestly, I don’t think they go together too well, but if you love it, go for it! Then again, I am very matchy, matchy on rings…so I am biased ๐Ÿ™‚ I have a 10k white gold wedding band and 14k white gold e-ring

I think Engagement Ring, then gold band, then diamond band would look really pretty!

Well now I can’t decide because they both look nice!  But you know what? Who says that you have to wear them the same way everyday? Mix it up! They look nice together and have a cute story ๐Ÿ™‚

@Mick0304:  what she said times 2!!  I am actually looking for a plain gold band to fit in between my diamond wedding band and ering with a diamond eternity band.  I like the look of the diamond, plain gold, and diamond bands stacked.

@ehobbs13:  Okay, gold band on top totally looks way better!
