I am absolutely obsessing over mismatched bridesmaid dresses. I have decided to do creams, blushes, dusty purples..Going to a vintage, girly, romatic-vibe. It is an outdoor wedding. The ceremony will be in a garden at an old Victorian bed and breakfast and the reception in in a barn (yes, sounds kind of hillbilly-ish..haha, but it has crystal chandeliers and fabric draping..it’s actually very rustic and elegant).
Do these dresses look okay so far?

I am in love with these dresses. They’re beautiful! =)

I love them! It’s a bit hard to get an idea of the actual colors to see if those coordinate just as well, but the laces and flowing fabric definitely tie them together. So pretty! I think they’d be perfect for a vintage and romantic outdoor wedding.
P.S. Barns are not at all hilly-billyish! In fact, I think they can be just as beautiful as extravagant ballrooms! 🙂

These look lovely together! It seems like they perfectly match the vibe of your wedding too!

I actaully like it better when they are mismatched. Very pretty dresses!!!

I’m not crazy about the first one. It looks like clubwear to me. But I really like the other two!

They look really great together! The lace ties them all in.

Thanks!! I thought this would be much easier to do, but it has been rather difficult. I had two more dresses, but I ordered them online and when they arrived in the mail, they looked NOTHING like they did online..I guess I learned my lesson and will only purchase from a store where I can take the other dresses in and compare for likeness.
Crossing my fingers this all turns out well:)

Where did you order from?

Love! I want mismatched dresses as well. Thanks for the heads up – I didn’t give any thought to the fact it might be a little bit trickier than just throwing a couple of closely coloured dresses together!

@yr22: Here’s where I got them, from left to right…
Nordstrom, an online boutique (so sorry..can’t remember what it’s called), Lulu London
It is SUPER tricky getting them to mesh well:( I am petrified they won’t!

@NZB2B: It’s really hard to make them mesh well. I am wishing I would have just done creams, versus trying to throw in a blush and dusty purple..Oh well:(

@Amsy28: They look amazing together. Good job being able to translate your mental vision into an actual vision that works really well. 🙂

They look great together, but are they long enough? They look awfully short to me.

Those look beautiful! I’ve been to weddings in the past that did this and I always thought it looked fine as long as the girls dresses were somewhat the same length. Those dresses look like they all go perfectly with each other!
