I’m also doing mismatched blush. I’ve asked the girls to wear something knee length – that’s all the direction I’ve given so far. I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with! It’s a small wedding, so I’m not too stressed if the match is “perfect”

I’ll be doing mismatched too! All they’ll be required to do is to pick the same type of fabric, avoid too much bling, keep it at least to the knee, and be roughly the same color. I’ll probably go and pick out a few dresses or a designer and have them then pick out from there.

I personally think that allowing some mismatching allows the girls to pick something they’d be comfortable in and would maybe wear again. My BMs are all very different style wise.

Hey,

I started with the mismatched look at then the girls were stressing way to much about finding their own dresses so I changed course a little… I went with Bill Levkoff and picked chiffon, pale pink, knee length and then the girls picked the style the wanted.

I’ve had a few friends do this for their wedding party, and it has looked great. They all got the dresses in the same fabric/color, but were able to get something that was flattering to them. I may do the same, although will only have 2 people in my wedding party – but I’d rather have them comfortable than feeling forced to wear something they don’t want to.
