So I want to do mismatched bridesmaids dresses in different nuetral/gray shades. I am having a very difficult time deciding what shoes to tell them to wear. At first, I wanted them to all wear the same shoes for a more ‘unifying’ look, but then I realized not all dresses would look great with the same shoes. The reason behind the mismatched dresses is for everyone to feel comfortable, get something in their price range, and something that they would wear again.
Here is what I have told them so far:
1. Satin, Chiffon or Lace (if satin, must be a lighter color).
2. All different! Something comfortable that you will wear again! The reason I am doing this is because I don’t want you to spend a ton of money on something that will hang in your closet forever and collect dust.
3. Mid-thigh to knee length. No preference on straps, sleeves, patterns, etc. If someone wants to get long sleeves, I would prefer that at least one other person has sleeves too.
Now my question is. What do I do with the shoes??!!!
Here is my inspiration, minus the super light colors.
Here is the color pallet I gave them.
