@BrittneyBee: How are you finding that much mismatched china?! I kind of thought this was one of these things that nobody ever did in real life because the logistics of hunting down 100+ different china plates at any sort of reasonable price, and then transporting them there without breaking, and THEN getting them home, were just sort of mind-boggling. But if you’vefigured out a way to make it work, I’d love to hear! Places around here want $3 and up PER PLATE! And that’s Salvation Army!

i really wanted to do this…. but was inspired by this picture someone posted in the classifieds to only do mis-match dessert plates.  seems easier and almost just as cute!

I am using mismatched china for our reception we’re having this June. I found a local company that actually rents mismatched china.  My friend Kim suggested a friend of hers who collects china and turned her hobby into a business.

I did this for my wedding last September!! It turned out stunning! I had a pretty big collection already when I started since collecting china has been a family tradition passed down from my great grandmother, to grandmother, to mom, to me. It took a couple years to complete the set for the wedding, but I think it was WELL worth it! I don’t know how to post pics on here, but I have a bunch of them on my public facebook page.

If someone tells me how to load the pictures on here, I would be happy to share a few with you!
