Maybe the girls with the high neckline could get a bracelet or a headpiece or something to even it out? I feel like as long as the quality is the same between the necklaces and earrings, it should be fine.

Love the pearl idea. I think they’d go great with the blush/taupe/pink dresses

I’m also going the mismatched dress route and after much back and forth, I decided to get the girls mismatched jewelry as well (Their dresses are gray/silver, and they’ll each have a different coral necklace that fits their neckline/personality).

I was worried if this would really work, so I ran my idea by my photog who promised the double mismatch will photograph well. It fits with my wedding’s funky formal theme. I’m excited.

i think you should just find some kind of necklace for the 3 girls especially if your thinking of getting the other 2 studs. i actually think the cluster pearls (i dont know exactly what one you got but i know what they look like) would look fine on all of the dresses! why do you think they would look funny? none of those dresses have that high of necklines. the second one from the right is a little higher than the others but i would think they would all look good with the cluster. Also for my wedding im doing a little head piece for my MOH. is yours the one with the lace strapless? love that dress! How come only 2 of the 5 dresses are lace? it looks like you were trying to do the every other person but the last dress should be lace too. that would drive me crazy! Sorry its my photographer side of me talking! hope you figure something out! 🙂

soontobehisbride: I’m doing mismatched dresses, but I don’t think I’ll be requiring the girls to wear any particular jewelry. If they would like to, they can provide their own jewelry from what they already own or choose to purchase with their dress. I’m encouraging the girls to purchase an “outfit” for the wedding: dress, jewlery, shoes–whatever they would like. If I was going to do matching jewelry, I’d probably just stick to something simple: Maybe a small pendant on a gold chain? I don’t know. I’d rather let them just select the jewlery themselves. If they’re going to pick out their dresses, they should be just as capable to select their jewelry.

soontobehisbride:  I had mismatched dresses and i just had everyone wear whatever they wanted as long as it matched our wedding colors. It worked out great 🙂
