I think it will look awesome! Although not the same, my father wore is dress uniform (police) when he gave me away. My Fiance wore his Army uniform. Priceless pictures. Do it!

@Jan_2014:  Not sure how the Canadians do it, but as long as they’re all in the same “level” of uniform (in US Marine Corps terms, all “dress blues” or all “alphas”) then I think it should look fine. The different branches wouldn’t make a difference to me.

@Jan_2014:  i am having the same worry, but only one uniform is different! my fiance, his best man and 4 groomsmen will wear their dress blues (marine corps) and his one groomsment is wearing his coast guard uniform. for a while i was worried it would look weird. but then i realized that i can’t wait to see my fiance in his blues again! and that no matter what their uniform looks like they will still all look great!

Just do it! Fiance is a Marine and he has 2 Marine groomsmen, 2 army, and 1 in a black tux. It’ll look so awesome!

We have dress blues from the National Guard (on my fiance), a tux on 3 groomsmen, another set of dress blues, and a dress Navy uniform! I was worried about it looking odd, too, at first. But now I am just excited to see everyone represented there! I think it’s so awesome!
