I have seen pictures of bridesmaids that are wearing different designs of bridesmaid dress but the same color, I actually like the idea because each girl looks great in something different! I’m considering the convertable dresses for my BMs

There are loads of photos of mismatched bridesmaids all over wedding bee if you search! I’m a huge fan of this and will be doing the same for my wedding 🙂

i havent personally seen mismatched bridesmaids and groomsmen, but honestly, WHY NOT!? I like the idea of your wedding party being comfortable and not forking out money for a dress they can never use again. My bridal party will be picking their own dresses. The direction i gave them? Purple, knee length, no lace. Thats it. I want them to get a dress they like that they can actually use again.

If i thought the boys could accomplish that (they are all farm boys, they have no fashion) i would let them wear their own suits.

We are doing exactly that. The girls are getting any knee-ish length dress they like in chocolate brown, and the guys are wearing a black suit they own. Some will be pinstriped, some not. We’re getting the guys matching ties, and then gifting them tie bars they can choose to wear or not. Not sure yet on gifts for the girls other than I am getting them legwarmers so they don’t freeze outside.

All of my bridesmaids had different dresses, and Darling Husband wore a different colour suit from the groomsmen. And all of the GMs had different ties. Not completely mismatched, but not completely uniform either.
