    I have never used Miss Jessie’s but I use Kinky-curly Knot today and the Custard.  I love them.  I only use the custard when I wear my hair out and I did not notice a product jelly feel.  My hair is past my shoulders when wet but I don’t have to use a lot of product in order to get the desired effect.

    I use Knot today as a detangler and leave in.  I also live it in when I use the Curling Custard.  The Knot Today comes right out and helps my hair from tangling in between washes.  I dab a little bit on every other day just to keep my curls soft.  Try using a little bit less product and see if you still get the look and feel you want.

    I don’t use Miss Jessie’s because I mix my own oils and butters.

    Good luck!

    I recently chopped my hair off finally. I like Miss Jessie’s, but it’s the only one I use. I don’t have product left and I also use the cleanser.

    I hated Ms. Jessie’s my hair felt disgusting and it didn’t curl or anything.  Kinky curly is what I still use… I LOVE IT.

    I just wanted to say to all the natural girls, that I just had the best natural hair day of my life. I bought my products from the local target. I chose an organic shampoo made with raw shea butter and the matching conditioner containing aragon oil.

    I left the conditioner in and didn’t towel dry. I hear that it keeps the hair from frizzing. Just leave it soaking wet and begin to style.

    I gently twisted a few curls around my finger to help them form.

    I used only the gel from this product line. The gel helped my hair from frizzing and I only used a small amount.

    Results, stunning curly wedding hair.

    Not a fan of Miss Jessie’s at all. I find that their products dried my hair out wayyy too much and even the deep conditioner did nothing for me, no matter how much I used. I’ve never tried Kinky-Curly, but I use a range of products from Deva Curl to Mixed Chicks to Ouidad.

    @adw2c:

    I am still on 4 day hair right now. The 1st day I slept on a regular pillow, then the last 3 days I had a satin bonnet, I just did a shake and go. Thats all. ^_^

    I dont use any products in my hair to acheive my curl patterns. When i want to wear my hair curly I wash it  condition and detangle in the shower, i rinse the conditioner out and shake the excess wwater out and allow it to aiirdry. But what I do use to detangle is Rusk smoother conditioner! It works magic for me!
