Whoa whoa whoa. If he’s only in Jersey, you’d better believe I’d be driving to his house at this point! Seriously, I don’t know what else you can do except to either do that, or just wait. I doubt it’s coming in, and it seems like the guy just doesn’t care.

…that is REALLY terrible and it breaks my heart that’s happening. Not okay. Actually, this might be somethign you can take legal action about because hello! It’s your ENGAGEMENT RING! I would be devastated if this happened to me. And angry! BUT YAY for your wedding coming up! That’s so exciting!

🙁 that is so so so sad! I’d be totally pissed (like your Fiance seems to be) if I was in your shoes!

is your ring super unique that it was made by hand and had to be adjusted by this guy? I mean, are you going to have to keep dealing with him if there’s any problems in the future? Or can you go to a traditional jeweler in the future?

Oh, that’s an absolutely awful situation. I’m so sorry! I think you should definitely pursue legal action. Did you have insurance for the ring that might cover it?

Good luck! I hope it lands on your doorstep tomorrow.

Ummm I would totally go to the guys house for real. That is ridiculous. Just make sure its at least 2 maybe more of you that go together. Safety in numbers and all.

I agreee with cinema – DRIVE TO HIS HOUSE!  Uh, have backup ready though, the guy might be a kook.  You can absolutely file legal action for that, what BS

This situation really sucks!  I would call the police- I don’t think it’s really safe to just show up at a stranger’s house who you’ve never met, demanding a diamond ring.  He could have a gun, you never know- I would let the pro’s handle it.  Good luck getting your ring back!

Please let us know what happens! I also agree you should stop at his house especially because he is just across the river
