Get a fill in. I learned long ago to do this. Sized…rerodiumed, recertified (as a whole) if you upgrade. A CZ fill in was well worth it πŸ˜€ poor you…hang in there, girl

Aw I’m sorry when mine went out for sizing it took 3 weeks! I know how you feel… I dread losing too much weight because I know it won’t be back for so long and I feel naked without it. The worst part is I always seem to run into someone who hasn’t seen it yet lol.

aww i’m sorry, this reminds me I need to have my ring size double checked soon before SO buys my ring.I would get a stand in anyway because there are going to be times you will not want to wear your real ring (going out of the country, camping, vacations, things like that)

@sherryberry:   omg I can’t even stand to leave my ring overnight to get it cleaned. I had to leave it for several weeks to get resized as well once.  They added sizing balls which took a week, but they didn’t use the correct metal (I have an allergy) so they had to take it for another week.  I. was. dying.  Just wanted to say I feel your pain.  Trust me though, the moment you get your ring back it is like Christmas.  Happy times πŸ™‚

I feel your pain. One of the little diamonds in the band of my Engagement Ring fell out… so it’s sitting in my house in an envelop waiting to be mailed to get it fixed.  If I wait till my next trip (we got the ring in FI’s home town) i won’t get to wear it until October.  I’m going to have to get a ring to wear until then, it feels so weird not wearing it.

Oh boy! Hang in there! Do you have any family heirloom pieces that can stand in? I think that’s what I’ll do, find something that also has meaning to wear. I will be freaking out next week because mine has to go across the country for a small repair. I’m not happy about this, 1- because this is my ring and you can’t take it away from me, that’s just not fair! and 2- when he was in the process of getting the stone he originally chose for me it got STOLEN in the mail! The jeweler has promised to pay insurance, but I’m still not comfortable putting it in a box and dropping it off at the post office. :/

I had mine at the jeweller for a week and only got it back last night, so I know how you feel. You’ll get it back soon enough and better!!
