I go with your answer and not look.  I mean you know the ring design that ‘s a bonus but I’m sure he as well as you want to be suprised when he proposes.  By not opening the box you still have that element of surprise and awe.  I hope he doesn’t make you wait that long either.  It looks like your going to have a great a holiday this year.  I can’t wait to see your post soon.  Good Luck not peeking.

Ahh! I know how hard it is to resist peeking at surprises of any sort so an engagement ring must be the ultimate temptation!! Keep strong and dont look! The wait will be so rewarding!

I am a bad person, and I would look.  LOL.  At least I am honest about it!

Right before Fiance proposed (4 months before) I found a jewelry box while doing laundry.  Totally opened it, and it was a necklace. LOL.  When he did propose, he kept the ring box in his car glovebox.  He knows me all too well.

I’m in your position too. I just looked!!! Aghhh! BUT, I didnt try it on… I want him to be the one to slip it onto my finger the first time. I’m naughty I know, but it’s so hard to not look!

I knew my ring was in FI’s underwear drawer because I was putting away laundry one day, and he told me to “stay out of that drawer.”  Subtle, huh?

I didn’t peek, but it killed me knowing it was there.  It only stayed there for about a week before it was on my finger…It was well worth it for the surprise (not that it was really a surprise because I had picked the ring out).

Although we bought it together, I did *blush* take a peek where he hid it the other day!  I wanted to make sure it was safe ;).  A few weeks back we were moving some boxes in our condo, and he got a bit nervous- opened one quickly.  Said he wanted to make sure IT was still there…so I saw where he hid it.  He suggested that he re-hide it so I couldn’t get to it, but I told him just to let it be.

I looked.  I just looked and I tried it on.  I feel.. sort of bad, sort of awful.  But I knew I’d do it.  I just said I wouldn’t.  But I did!  He knew it would be such a temptation, I just wish he had taken it to work or something :/.  Oh well, I still don’t know about the proposal, so that’ll be a surprise πŸ™‚

I’d like to say dont look, it would probably be for the best, but, i know that i wouldnt be able to stand it!! I’ve always been a snooper, even as a little kid i would snoop on my Christmas Gifts, but I always regreted it on Christmas morning!
