My Darling Husband and I have been TTC and are on our 4th cycle. I use an app on my phone and track my fertile days and ovulation day, I am usually really good about knowing when it is with CM (the goopy one). My ovulation day was supposed to be yesterday but I didn’t see my goopy CM so I thought maybe it’s one day late, now today still no news.. Could it be that some months it just doesn’t come? Meaning the goopy CM…
Also, not sure if it’s just me but my ovulation time usually makes me just as bad as PMS, I’m feeling so down and crappy, just want to be curled up in bed all day. Not in the mood at all for BD even though this should be the best day! What gives?
Just looking for encourgement, feeling down 🙁

@octoberbaby: I get some bad ovulation cramps. Not quite as bad as period cramps but they’re up there. Guess that’s why it’s a good thing you can BD from a few days before and still get PG. As for the cervical fluid, I think you mean egg white fluid when you say goopy? That’s the most fertile one. People generally have that at their fertile time around ovulation but some people don’t get good quality fluid. Perhaps you just had an off month? I’m not sure if it’s the kind of thing people have a problem with all the time or if it can vary month to month but I’d imagine that with changing hormone levels it could vary by month. It’s also possible that your ovulation got delayed due to a number of possible factors, stress or something like that. So perhaps egg white fluid is still in your future. If you really want to know what’s up I’d suggest temping or using ovulation predictor kits or both. I check fluid, temp and use opks- you get a fairly clear picture of what’s happening every month.

@octoberbaby: Drink lots of water! Almost all bodily issues can be cured by drinking 8 glasses of water per day 🙂 Also, you will never know when you actually ovulate without temping. CM is an excellent indicator, but you can easily still ovulate without it. I would pick up preseed and add that in this month.

@octoberbaby: I know there are expensive but I would advise you to buy the Clearblue OPK. I bought it last month and I realized that I ovulate a lot sooner than I thought. I have been TTC for over 6 months with the wrong info. Want to spare you the frustation.
