That happened to me for a few YEARS back in college. I was a chubby kid, chubby high schooler, and chubby college kid. When I turned 19ish I started learning about diet/exercise and FF a year or so, I was super fit, super thin, but fell down a rabbit hole and got way too extreme. I ate too little (and by the way 1200 is WAY TOO LITTLE especially if you’re exercising a lot), and exercised too much. I went from 160 at the start to 115, which on my 5’7 frame is just too small. I lost my period for a good two years.
Crazy thing is I was so thrilled about it despite all the warnings from doctors, friends and family.
It’s been several years since that, and I’m back to normal now. Once I pulled my head out, started eating and exercising PROPERLY, and gained a couple pounds back, it came back. I’ll never know if it screwed up my reproductive system though because I never plan on having kids, but I know it’s a possibility.
