Can you see using the Thank You note Manager who purchased the gift for you?  My mom “purchased” two sets of coffee mugs off our regsitry.  At the shower she gave me a completely different set – I asked and she marked the other ones off so I wouldn’t get bombarded with coffee cups if someone else bought them.

So maybe people marked them as purchased but they were really bought somewhere else?  Or maybe if the person purchasing them on the thank you note manager is someone you are close with you can ask?!

Yeah, I’m not sure every registry has a Thank You Note Manager. I know Amazon does, but I haven’t found a way to know who purchased items from our Bed, Bath & Beyond registry.

I think contacting the stores you’re registered with is a good idea, but I’m not sure if they’ll be able to give you the info or not. Doesn’t hurt to try, though!

I know Crate and Barrel has a thank you manager… it’s an option under ‘manage my registry’.

Crate and Barrel, Macys and Williams Sonoma all have them.  Not sure about others as I only have those 3 registry’s myself.

They are usually under “Manage your registry” or some heading like that.  It will tell you who purchased what and on what date.  Purchasers can opt out of giving info but only 2 or 3 did that for my shower.
