Unfortunately this is pretty common in the military community (eloping before wedding) and for whatever reason, some brides choose not to disclose when the real wedding was. Since it is bothering you, ask her about it- may be her explanation will soothe your concerns.

I personally couldn’t be friends with someone who blatantly lied to me and deceived me for so many months.

It would pretty much ruin our friendship.  She obviously doesn’t feel the same about you as you do her. 

There is no reason for the deception except for gifts that I can think of.  People may not gift as much for a reception party or renewal as they do for an actual wedding. 

I would probably start to distance myself from this friendship.
