Good Evening Bees!!!
I am so excited to announce that we finally have an appointment to get our engagement photos done from this AMAZING photographer here!! YAY!!! Shes in such high demand that shes almost already booked up for weddings for 2013 and we snagged her up right away…
Our appointment is mid-june and although I am so excited and beyond stoked to finally have great photos of me and my main squeeze… i’m kinda panicking a little…
Fi and I arent really too lovey dovey… we joke around a lot and i’m afraid that we wont get good photos or at least sweet photos (i have no doubt that we will get some awesome candids). For my whole life i have had a lazy eyelid causing me to look drunk in a lot of my photos, for this reason i usually avoid cameras untill early this year I actually had surgery to fix it and it looks great, however… since avoiding cameras… I dont really know how to take a good photo. 🙁 Have any of you other bees out there gone through similar fears and turned out with great photos?

@Pappy8: I was super nervous prior to taking our e-pics. I’m not a big fan of my round-ovalish face shape and was afraid of how iI would look in the pictures. I honestly have to give a tremendous amount of credit to my photographer because she always makes me feel at ease and her positive reinforcement during our shoot made me forget about my worries. Fiance and I acted like our normal selves on and off camera and she caught many candid moments when we thought she wasn’t looking. Our pictures came out awesome better than I could’ve imagined.
Just be yourself and have fun. Forget your photographer is around.

I was crazy nervous for our engagement photos! Which was weird since I am a photographer myself & I know couples are always nervous but always end up having fun 😉
The session came & it was so much fun! Your photographer will know how to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, so just relax & have fun with your fiance. The beginning was the most awkward, so I just whispered little jokes in his ear to relax & loosen up, but after the first ten minutes or so it became natural & was a breeze.
Good luck, and have fun!
