(Closed) Mixing classical and contemporary music in ceremony… Does it work?

Craftypants, I think it’s totally okay to mix genres of music in your ceremony.  I think the music should reflect things you truly like and it’s okay if those styles are different.

I also think that it is totally fine to mix it up. I have a bunch of contemporary music, some sixties, and when I walk down the aisle the music is classical piano. I did question it too, but then I thought I want to hear this music and that is what is going to make my ceremony special to me and my fiance.

Love some of your ideas Craftypants!

As for me, I’m mixing it up..way up.  With my idea for Coldplay mixed in with some Andrew Lloyd Webber.  It’s my plan to dash down the aisle to "viva la vida" which sounds amazing with strings! 

Feel free to borrow Viva la Vida..it’s so lovely in instrumental version!
