What are your colors? It seems like too many light colors together, and your centerpieces would get washed out since it is all basically the same color with variations

it’s only my opinion but i think the two don’t go together, and that the ivory starts to look dirty in comparrison to the white. would it not be possible to have full length ivory covers,

I don’t think it looks odd. Do you mean because of the closeness in color or because of the different fabrics?

Are your colors white and ivory?  I would say that normally one should not mix white and ivory, but if those are your two main/specific colors and everthing is either white or ivory it could work.  Maybe an accent color would be a nice addition.  But, if there are other main/specific colors in your color scheme, I’d pick either white or ivory, not both.

If getting full length ivory is an option I would definitely do that. I think it would look better.

@jacinda10: yeah so the underlay doesn’t show, you just see either all ivory or all white

It doesn’t look good. Could you maybe use an ivory table cloth with a white lace overlay? If you are going for the vintage theme with your teapots and what not.. I think the lace would be a much better option. This pic isnt of ivory and white but you get the picture.. the ivory will show through the lace but not look like dirty on clean.

@jacinda10: ๐Ÿ™ aww.. im sorry.. keep looking though! I am sure you will find something! But I just remembered something great i did for my daughter’s princess party.. I bought gold doilys (i think thats how you spell it).. you know.. the paper things that go under cakes and stuff? Well, I used them as chargers! and they looked AMAZING!!! and SO SO CHEAP! That would go really well with your theme.. and you can get them in all kinds of colors if you are unable to get the lace overlays.. Have you tried pricing just buying cheap bulk lace and  cutting them into squares to fit over your tables? That might be more cost effective and after you can sell them on the bee! Just a thought ๐Ÿ™‚
