Strawberry cheesecake or blueberry cheesecake?  There’s a cupcake shop over here that has those flavors (stuffed with actual cheesecake) – soooo yummy!

I had a salted caramel cupcake once that was so incredible I still think about it!

For mine, I asked my parents to pick a flavor (they are still deciding), my FI’s dad and stepmom to pick a flavor (cappicino), my FI’s mom and stepdad to pick a flavor (coconut), and my Fiance (he is still deciding) to pick a flavor.  My flavor is vanilla with a mini-pumpkin pie baked inside.  I am making the cupcakes and I can’t wait for guests to share with each other all the flavors!!!  I am going to put up notecards with who chose what cupcake and why!!!

Raspberry-lemon, coconut, carrot cake, all would be yummy additions. 🙂

Lemon? there are some awesome lemon combos I’ve seen: strawberry lemonade, lemon cheesecake, lemon almond…

I really like spice cake and carrot cake. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but they can both be amazing if made well.

Cinnamon apple?

Raspberry truffle?

I love a good spice cake with cream cheese frosting. Or carrot cake. Or pumpkin. I’m a sucker for cinnamon and nutmeg so I always go for the spiced fall flavors.

Cappucino’s great too. I love when they do them with a chocolate-covered espresso bean garnish.

My faves are german chocolate and red velvet (but only with the traditional red velvet frosting, not cream cheese!).  I’m a cake decorator and some flavors that everyone seems to love are: cookies and cream, lemon blueberry, pumpkin spice, coconut cheesecake and white chocolate peanut butter.

We’re doing a dessert table at our wedding and we’re having chocolate mint, cappuccino, almond joy, and red velvet cupcakes.

Isn’t red velvet just chocolate with red food coloring?
