Frozen grapes!? I’ve never even heard of eating them frozen. I like my grapes crushed, fermeted, and chilled in a glass 😉

Speaking of wine..I tried something out the other day that I am just addicted too! I am a southern girl, so I drink sweet tea with just about everything. The other day I bought some wine that was a little too strong so I mixed it 1/2 wine, 1/2 sweet tea, and ohhmmmggeee it was so good! Gotta try it!

When I was younger (elementary school aged) I lived in Arizona and frozen grapes were the BEST summertime snack. So refreshing and yummy!!

My fiance had never heard of frozen grapes before I mentioned them. Initially, he seemed fairly skeptical. But now, I catch him swiping them from my bowl all the time.

I’ve never tried frozen grapes before, but now I think I’m going to, lol.  I’ve heard of injecting alcohol in them, too, does that work?  @babybritt143, what kind of wine did you mix with your sweet tea?  I’m a Georgia girl, and that sounds yummy!

I LOVE frozen grapes.  I actually just finished eating some frozen blueberries.  The flavour is just so much more intense when its frozen!

@stephanie63087: My two favorites are Lakeridge Winery’s Southern Red, and Duplin’s Hatteras Red. I am NOT a red wine drinker, usually like white, but these are the bomb. Since you’re in Georgia, do you have Publix grocery stores? The Lakeridge Winery is about an hour south of where I live (in central florida) but they sell it in Publix stores. All else fails you can get them both online.

Is there a certain type of grape that freezes best? I read about frozen grapes on another thread here and tried it but it wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. The skin on the grape tasted rubbery. Do you think it was the tupperware container that caused that taste?

I really want to like frozen grapes but need to know which ones work best. =)
