My mom’s dress (actually a bridesmaid’s dress) has off the shoulder sleeves.  I think it’s perfectly ok.

I think it’s really pretty!  I like how it covers up the dreaded arm flab too! LOL!

I really like this look for MOB/MOG. The off the shoulder collar is always flattering and it is not that same old bolero jacket separate look that seems to be everywhere.

I think your mom would feel very special and sophisticated in this dress without feeling old and matronly.

I do! Has she tried it on or are you just looking for ideas? Off the shoulder isn’t really the most comfortable to wear all night, but if she likes it and its flattering on her,why not?

I like it!

I think it’s fine, but then again, my mom wore an asymmetrical one-shoulder gown. But you know what, so did her mom back in the 80’s. I don’t see how that dress could be considered non-wedding appropriate unless your mom simply can’t pull that look off, but it’s not like it’s scandalous by any means! I think it’s elegant. I just love off the shoulder looks though.

I think it’s nice. JoJO, where’d you find that dress?

I love that dress!

My mom is also wearing a bridesmaids’ dress (kinda similar to the one JoJo posted)  She hated all the typical MOB dresses, and she does NOT want to wear any sort of jacket or bolero.  My Future Mother-In-Law almost died when my mom told her that LoL
