I know this doesn’t really fit her criteria, but I die over this MOB getup from MSW. If only I’d seen this before mom ordered her dress. It’s great, don’t get me wrong, but my mom adores orange and I thought she was going to beat me with a pillow when I showed her this picture. :p

LOVE.

I have no suggestions I just wanted to comment lol. My mom is so not the traditional mom, while I wanted my wedding dress to be simple but elegant my mom wants her dress to be flashy and blingy. She even went so far as to ask if some of the wedding dresses came in a different color, so she could wear it! I wish she would just wear one of those MOB dresses!

Take her to some regular shops and stay away from the bridal boutiques. My Mum hates MOB dresses so she ended up in nice cocktail numbers for my sister’s wedding and my own.

Has she checked local dept stores? Honestly, she can wear anything. It doesn’t have to come from the MOB section or websites.

my mom also doesn’t like any of the traditional MOB dresses AND her favorite color is black too! so we looked for her dress from bridesmaids lines and ended up with this one (she will cut off the 2 thin halter straps and move the thicker shoulder straps up to cover the her shoulders):
