@Bostongrl25:
Again, all you have to do is type weddingbee in your FB search bar like the rest of us did. It will show up as a group. That’s how most of us found it. Nobody was invited and it’s not exclusive. ANYONE can join. The only way to get deleted is to not participate.

@bookworm88: This thread can stay open as long as there’s not an expectation for immediate answers to the questions being posted. Can we all agree on that?

@Gemstone: “In order to not fuel your fire, I’d strongly recommend removing that message from the board. I’m trying to help you out here, I promise.”
I wish we had a “confused” smiley. For now, this one will do:

I can understand trying to prevent someone from abusing the edit button– “You’re a _____” and then editing it to “I don’t understand what you mean, could you elaborate” so you got to insult someone but hide from the Mods. But I think there should be leeway in that rule for someone self-moderating. I know I’ve been heated, especially in the politics threads, and posted something then gone back and edited it just because I was trying to type fast and get my point across, but I may not have been as tactful as needed.

@bookworm88: I would imagine PM’s can’t be shared because that’s a two way street. If we wouldn’t want the mods (or other bees who were not originally sent the PM) posting and reading our PM’s, they may not want us disseminating their posts beyond the original recipient.
Not saying which is right or wrong, just posting what I presume is the reasoning.

@KatyElle: Thats what I thought too but as many other things around here we have no clue what the actual rules are

@Gemstone: Totally agreed– just please don’t think any questions that may be posted here mean “answer me now!” We’re just organizing our thoughts and throwing questions around to see what we want in the “official question list” or whatever we’re calling it.

@bookworm88: Agreed.
You have one hour to edit any post you create, by clicking the “Edit” button beneath the post.
This is the only sentence in the TOS I can find about editing. I don’t think it’s fair to warn someone for misuse of the editing feature when it’s not explicitly stated what constitutes misuse.

@teabiscuit: For the sake of discussion, I was trying to give her a chance to get rid of it, as we’ve all determined that the use of the “edit” button will be included in tomorrow’s list of questions.

If a mod or hostess want to edit my post fine but I am not doing that myself since it will be used against me as another warning

@hisgoosiegirl: But if I PM someone something, especially something inflammatory, I know it could come back to bite me in the butt. I wouldn’t expect someone to PM a stranger with something they didn’t expect to see pop up in the community.

@bookworm88: Got it. Thanks! 🙂 Also, I’ve let the others know about tomorrow…just trying to get a feel for when answers will be available.

Yeah I think the whole ” there is a FB group?!?!” is more like a ” what the heck, why didn’t I think to research that further or type it into FB search!” than ” they’re keeping a secret group from us!” type of thing.
That was my reaction anyways/
