Here are some of our decor! We definitely went for that modern vintage look! I called it “feminine classic.” The best way to do it is combine a classic look with vintage touches. Lace, tea cups, mercury glass, etc. I did a lot of gold because that’s what I love! Using muted colors also creates that soft, vintage vibe.

Our theme is shabby chic…aka rustic chic, modern chic, vintage lol…We’re going to be having a “family tree”. Basically a fake tree with old family wedding photos hanging off it. So far I’ve gotten my parents, my grand parents, my great-grand parents, and we’re still working on getting copies from his side 🙂 We’re going to hang them from the tree with ribbon tied to little clothes pegs. We’re also having croquet set up durring cocktail hour (the set is being rented, it’s about 75yrs old lol) Even our photo booth is going to have a vintage theme. Center pieces are a mix between bird cages and glass lanterns with mason jars and candles. I just love the idea of it being so relaxed and “cozy”. Lots of lace, burlap and antiques 😀
