One of my sisters is quite large and she often wears halter-top dresses.  They seem to have higher necklines than strapless or spaghetti-strap dresses.  Also, when I was searching for a wedding dress, one bridal shop told me they could put in what is called a "modesty panel." It basically is a piece of cloth inserted into the neckline to cover up the cleavage. Here’s an example:

If you have a certain style of dress in mind, you might be able to use the modesty panel to make it more "church appropriate."

What about a dress with this kind of neckline?

Gorgeous, EAS! That style is my classic go-to for conservative locations. And it’s cute

I’m wearing a halter top in another wedding and a strapless in another. As long as it fits right, it’s not an issue and i’m a Dirty Delete, and I was REALLY worried about being on display. Otherwise, a wrap dress works nicely, and one of my favorites is a scoopneck that doesn’t dip real low.

Wow, it says my comment was spam! Anyways, go to Nordstrom’s website and search by body type, then full bust.

Here’s a cute option: http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/3008612?refsid=246173&refcat=0%7e2376776%7e2374327%7e6005464%7e6005511%7e6005548&SourceID=&SlotID=1&origin=related

i was in a wedding where the bridesmaids were everything from a size 00 to bigger than the sizes offered by melissa sweet. the bride picked a melissa sweet dress with a neckline simiar to the picture posted by EAQ, and it worked out quite nicely in terms of modesty and support (because in some versions of that neckline, you can even wear a regular bra (just pin them to make sure they don’t peek out.

Off of Mrs. Spring’s post… For one wedding I was in, we wore lace camis to hide our goodies in our 3/4 sleeve V-neck jersey dress. I had my BMs in strapless Jessica McClintock dresses with shawls, since it was winter. For another wedding I will be in, we are wearing strapless Jasmine dresses, and still deciding how we will cover up. We chose dresses that we liked first and then to ensure the re-wear factor. Just thought I’d share with you to let you know that it can be done and that you’re not alone! 🙂

That’s a really flattering dress, and you can easily find that style in an A-line if you want them in A-lines versus Sheath styles. My maids are in an in-between style. a little more flair than a sheath but not quite a full circle a-line. I have 6 girls, ranging from size 0 to size 14 with boobs from A through D and they all look incredible in it.

I attached a pic of my Bridesmaid or Best Man who has the biggest boobs of all the bridesmaids.l She loves the dress and wanted to wear it for new years eve and told me not to let her have it or she’d be tempted

It’s modest but it’s not old lady either!

My mom made them. If anybody else is interested, let me know and I"ll find out which pattern it is. There’s no zipper, they just pull over the head. Super easy, a few hours to make, and about $25 in material. We used fabric from the Casablanca Bridal collection at Joann’s Fabric. This particular color is discontinued I believe. I bought the last 8 yards in my area

For my sisters wedding, I tried this one on, and found it pretty cute but also not as deep as other v-necks…

this one has a nice high neck, and could be dressed up with a sash or brooch…

and this one is similar to others posted above 🙂
