I cant see your posts to me on that thread – I wonder if those are getting deleted or if its another WB glitch?

I noticed the same thing about a couple of my posts. They appeared to have vanished on my end.

I dont think the mods are doing anything. I think it’s the site itself, which has never worked well and is now just one big glitch.

I responded to a private message yesterday and got an error saying the username was filled incorrectly and I was not logged in,, or something similarly weird. In order to read and write messages you have to be logged in. A lot of this stuff is happening because they changed the login requirements, i.e., you have to be logged in to view certain threads. Other than cutting way down on site traffic and posting, I’m not sure of the benefit of that new rule.

I’ve always wondered if their aim is just to get rid of any part of the forum that isn’t devoted to rings, dresses, and things to buy.

I tried to respond to a post earlier today and it didn’t actually post, and there was an error message that said “Are you sure you meant to do that?” in a red box.  I think the whole site is buggy TBH.

I’m looking into this now. Gonna check the spam folders first.

I tried posting a response in a thread earlier and it didn’t go through. So I tried to post again and it said I already said that…well yeah but it didn’t work! So I tried again and same thing. So I just logged off for a bit and came back and there my response finally was. But just now I’m looking at that same thread (which had at least 15+ responses last I saw) and now it only has 7 AND my response is gone again. WTH is going on today?

 So a few servers needed to be restarted which I’m assuming was the cause of this issue.  Please let me know if further issues arise.

@ibtyen:

1) What is the reasoning behind making some boards private? Which boards are set to private? Why wasn’t an announcement made?

2) Add me to the list of people who has tried to post with posts not showing up (as recently as a few seconds ago on a different thread, not sure if this will show).

1) Thanks, I hadn’t seen that. I would suggest that you have an explanatory thread pinned to the top of the boards that explains which boards are public and which boards are private and that users are suggested to make an account to view the private threads.

2) I have been able to post in a few threads including this one, but I still cannot post in that thread that I was trying to post on before. It’s actually also on the rings board so idk what is going on.

OP, I have had MAJOR issues with the site lately. I tried 5 times to create a thread, FINALLY it let me. It was still touchy, but I got a few comments and within an hour the comments were gone. All that was left were my responses making it look like I was talking to myself LOL. I truly think the site is going through some maintenance phase or something. As much as I love the bee, its seems to be very very much in the stone age as far as technological advancements LOL. I am just thankful for the spell check feature, because it is well used LMAO.
