I really want to do something special for my FIL’s bc they have helped out so much with my wedding. I found a picture of the MOG with her father on her wedding day, a picture of the MOG with her husband on their wedding day, and I was thinking of including a picture of her and my fiance from the wedding. What should I do with these 3 pics? I don’t have the third pic yet but I will. I have one of the two of them from when he was a baby I was thinking I could use temporarily? Can you help me think of a perfect gift for the MOG??

You can have the photos nicely framed, and maybe have one or two enlarged, which would be a good gift, but have you considered that time spent with you may be a more meaningful gift? Take your future Mother-In-Law for a post-wedding spa day and spend a nice afternoon together. That’s the kind of thing that makes moms cry in the good way 🙂

Are you crafty at all? If so, you could easily make them a mixed media collage with newsprint background and a collage of the pics (not the originals- make copies).
You can get headlines from the years of the various pictures, love quotations, sheet music etc for the background, then use a gel medium to transfer the pics to the canvas.
You can even incorporate things like faux wedding rings, silk flowers (what was in her bouquet?)
Use the pics you have .You can add your wedding pic after the wedding. I would treasure a gift like that.
