Are 9″ heels a possibility? lol jk!

It’s a cute dress, but I can see how you’d get lost in it. Definitely take it to a seamstress… once its tailored to your body it will look like a totally different dress!

This is the dress my girls picked! I loved it and so did they.  They were all different shapes and sizes.

PM me and I will e-mail some of the pics from the wedding. ๐Ÿ™‚

I would take it for alteration and see what they could do. With you being smaller they might be able to cut it more like a petite dress which will also help it fit your body better.

When I stopped in our local alfred angelo I did not like how they said they only had larger sizes and would messure you for the size you needed, insisting that it will be a perfect fit for this very same reason. I know it’s frustrating but I’m sure your tailor will be able to get the dress fitting perfectly for you! Good luck with alterations

I would wear a giant blue sumo suit, or dress as a kangaroo if my best friend asked me to. And she would do the same for me. I’m not saying don’t try to fix it–do. Vent here to the community, but please don’t complain to the bride about your dress!

I will be another that says alterations work MIRACLES. I was a bridesmaid, and when the dress came, it was super long and looked terrible. Once the length was taken up, and the bust and waist defined… it looked awesome. I couldn’t believe it! I would like to see a picture too. I am sure the “before” and “after” will be a huge difference!
