nina.ashton.3:  Has she had any experience being in a bridal party?

Honestly, these don’t sound like major issues to me. You can simply respond that you will still get pics of the group getting ready- after hair and makeup and before dresses. If she hasn’t purchased a wedding dress, she may not know that you need your shoes before hemming the dress.

Could it be a financial issue she is having but she is worried about telling you. When I was a bridesmaid for my friend I was struggling with money so to her it seemed that I was unhappy or I wasn’t interested when she was putting ideas forward and I was looking for less expensive ways. It all worked out in the end tho. Why not tell her how you feel and ask her what’s wrong

Is this a new thing with her? Or is she just one of those people that always thinks they know everything?

Honestly these don’t sound like big issues to me either but that’s just me.

nina.ashton.3:  so why are these seemingly innocuous comments such a big deal to you?

nina.ashton.3:  Sorry if I’m missing something, but none of these sound like problems:

1. She found a free makeup artist. You’re both happy with that so what’s the problem?

2. She’s suggested doing “getting ready” photos. I don’t see the harm in making a suggestion.

3. She didn’t know when you needed your shoes by, but I don’t see how that’s a big deal.

You remind me of the bride I was suppose to be Maid/Matron of Honor for last year. Her and her mom cussed me out on several occasions because I was “always negative”…even though I wasn’t. But they didn’t give a shit that I was going through the hardest time in my life and failed to realize my life did not revolve around her stupid wedding. Needless to say, I haven’t spoke with either of them since the wedding last October, thank God.

Tinatiny1:  This is the same person who wanted to go to an all inclusive resort for her bachelorette…

Even more of a reminder of my ex-friend.

ksn1219:  Actually no, her Maid/Matron of Honor suggested it and she came here to ask if it was a good idea.
