jadeaura650 :  People can be so rude on this site.

I wouldn’t sleep near her, and just make sure not to share any beverages, make up brushes, etc. I would bet she will be feeling better by the wedding, it’s unlikely that she will get you sick. Just be careful as you would if someone in your office came to work sick (washing hands, hand sanitizer, etc)

I hope your Maid/Matron of Honor is feeling better and that you are taking good care of her.

Surely you were not expecting her to act as your unpaid DOC and have other options for covering the tasks you mentioned.

Take care of yourself–vitamins, etc.–and don’t kiss her on the lips or sleep with her. Otherwise all should be well. A wedding is one important day. A friendship is a lifetime full of important days.

I think I’m in the minority but people who rarely catch colds or don’t suffer bad ones don’t understand. I catch colds so easily even though I am so careful with hand washing and hand sanitiser. I take vitamins every day aswell.

I still catch colds about 3 times a year and they are usually really bad for at least a week. So if someone in work or my partner gets a cold 99% of the time catch it no matter what I do. So if a friend say is sick and we have arranged to meet I usually postpone til they feel better as it’s not worth it.

So I would be feeling the exact same OP. Defo stay away from her as much as you can til the day of and no sharing anything and hopefully you’ll avoid catching it.

Seriously this is your worst nightmare!! Try getting a cold yourself three days before the wedding and a cold sore due to stress when you haven’t had one in years pop up on the morning of your wedding.

Or a storm blow through your city 3 days before wedding and out of 1.4 million homes, 25% lose power. Then having to sleep in a hotel as your parents still don’t have power the day before the wedding 🤦‍♀️

That was me..
