I don’t think it would be that offensively noticeable. And if anyone is going to be different, its the Maid/Matron of Honor. So you’ve got that going for you. I personally don’t like the idea of the Maid/Matron of Honor standing out so much, just because I think it breaks the unity. But as a guest, I wouldn’t be bothered by that!

I don’t think it matters, but what do you think?

Will your sense of aesthetics be thrown off if it is a different length in pics?

As long as the BMs are in a decent length (think cocktail knee length) and the dresses match it would be find ๐Ÿ™‚

I personally LOVE the look of bridesmaids in different dresses, so I don’t think it would be a problem if the Maid/Matron of Honor had a different-length dress than the rest of your bridesmaids. ๐Ÿ™‚

I think it sounds lovely…as you say they are all in the same fabric and colour and from the sounds of it will all be different styles anyway…so why not have the Maid/Matron of Honor in floor length.

One wedding I was at recently had the BM’s all in same colour and fabric but all different styles and lengths to suit they body shapes. They all looked really stunning!

My MoH has a longer dress, per her request, and I think it looks fine. I also put her in a different color, but the dresses are the same fabric and and of similar style, so it works well. I think if your girls are doing same color and fabric, that will be enough to tie it together and not look sloppy. In fact, I think it sounds beautiful!

Actually, a lot of people intentionally do this- I think it will be absolutely fine as long as the dresses go well together. Truthfully, I think it could also be a nice way to make her stand out a little, as she is such an important person in your life.

Especially since she’s your Maid/Matron of Honor, I think that’ll look great.

I think it would work perfectly considering the Maid/Matron of Honor is supposed to “stand out!” Go for it!

Well that would definitely help the Maid/Matron of Honor stand out. ๐Ÿ™‚
