    GO FOR IT.

Nothing screams “Insecure bride” like a bride that’s upset about guests or FMILs wearing white.

I think it will look elegant and classy and make you look like a bride that doesn’t bother or care about such nonsense such as what color someone who is standing next to you is wearing.

Simplyjess:  +1 I think that’s why Pippa did wear white.  Because it was a royal wedding and they are all about traditions….

Traditionally bridesmaids wore white and veils to protect the bride from demons and evil spirits.

MrsWoods47:  Why?  So the demons would go after a decoy BM instead of the brides?

Dang.  Times are a changing.  Brides aren’t even allowed to expect a BM to throw her a shower or help her plan the wedding but back then they had to take the fall for a demonic posession.

don’t do it.  Sucked for Kate that all eyes were on the prettier, hotter, better dressed Pippa.  Why would you want to risk that?

I would have her wear ivory.  As white next to your won’t look great together.  IMO

Atalanta:  I don’t think she is prettier hotter or better dressed just that the media focused on her ‘allegedly’ padded bottom!  I really can’t imagine she is happy that she is  notorious  now and known to the world as ‘Kate’s sister with the cute arse’ – she has far more about her!

I also think Kate wouldn’t blame her sister for the sexist media furore!  I think she had more on her mind than competing with her own sister for ‘rear of the year’!

If you want to create a balance, you could choose an ivory dress for her that would look nice with a sash, and have her wear a peach colored sash? I’m sure there’s a way to subtly say “not the bride” and still have her wear ivory if that’s what you want.
