Slightly different specs here but could be good for your reference! I have a 1.5 carat equivalent F1 oval with a halo in yellow gold on a size 5.5. Loving all these ring pics!

While I have two good size diamonds, I love my moissys (2 emerald cut and one round) just as much. One note on emerald cuts (I have both a diamond and 2 Moissys – one Moissy and one diamond are pictured), they get dirty really easily and don’t sparkle when they are dirty.  I have a white sapphire too and sapphires are worse, but if frequent cleaning of a Moissy is not something you want, I would go with a sparkly oval.

Those are both moissys – here is my emerald cut diamond for comparison to the moissys. All are 3 carat equivalent.

And honestly, I love my diamond bc it is my engagement ring – but the top Moissy (which was a cheap one from India that I set in an expensive diamond and platinum setting) is the most beautiful stone.

My TG moissanite looks very white most of the time without looking silvery (that was my concern with round moissanite) I went with 9×7.5 OMC which is ~3 carat equivlent. I love it! It throws alot of sparkle and rainbows, which I adore!

fcm16 :  Thank you:) I never knew I like yellow gold til this ring, it gives it a great contrast to have the pave pop. Depending on your skin tone, that might help you pick between yellow or rose gold. My skin tone is warmer and the yellow gold definitely looks better than rose gold. Rose gold looks washed out on me, if that makes sense, lol.

You see some warmth in the stone because of the gold, but it’s not bad. It’s warmer in like a really warm room, but it still looks good. Kind of wish I had gone with near colorless, actually. It faces up white for the most part. When I compare it to my colorless moissanite round in platinum setting, it looks slightly warmer, but it looks white when you’re not comparing it to anything.

fcm16 :  Thank you! My ring is a size 9 but it’s alittle big, so I am gonna say ~8.5-9.  I didn’t think taking accurate pictures would be as difficult as it has proven to be. It looks large in these pictures but it actually pretty proportionate to my hand IMO IMG_5605
