@kaythomp325:  That thing is stunning. I was really nervous about Moissanite, because I only recently discovered it — and it was by accident, really! However, I love love love the idea of it, and if I’m being honest, creeping around these boards has really helped me feel more comfortable that I will be happy with the final product when we buy it. Your ring in particular is one that made me change my mind from diamonds to Moissy!

Also little question for lack of knowledge on moissanites: do they get cloudy like CZ? 

In my personal experience, my stone stays clean and do not gets cloudy at all. It is almost white in most lights but, it does change colors and shows a rainbow like effect in different lighting.

The setting is an antique looking ring called Bella. It is 14Kt white gold and diamonds. My finger size is 5.5 and the ring size is 5.75.

I love my moissanite.  In most indoor situations it is bright white.  In indoor settings with muted natural light it gets quite buttery.  This doesn’t bother me too much, although I think that before I got it, I didn’t think it would be as buttery as often as it is.  Mine is always yellow and greenish when I am in my car even when it is sunny. But, that being said, when it is white is is the most amazing stone in the world.  I can also see why people remark on its fire.  I was worried it was too much at first, but I have some friends who have nice quaiity diamonds and it is comparable.  There are times when the moissanite is almost like a clear opal though, if that makes sense?

Mine is a 1.5 equivalent forever brilliant.  I would definately make the choice if I were to have it again althoug I do think if you really want the look of a diamond you will be disappointed.  I could see how it would be easy to pass one off as a diamond, but if you stare at the stone enough and pay attention there are significant differences.

This is my girl 🙂 1.25ct center stone – size 7 finger.  Amora from Moissyco. Love everything about it! Its super white, VERY sparkly! Every jeweller that has seen it just is in awe 🙂 They all think its a diamond.haha. not that I am trying to pass it off as one. Moissanite is so pretty. I am so glad I didnt get a diamond. I mean look at all these beautiful rings on the thread!

See thats strange to me because my rarely looks buttery and I mean rarely. Maybe there is a significant difference between Amora and FB. They say 2x whiter for Amora than FB but I still thought it would be similar. Your ring is pretty regardless 🙂

Absolutely gorgeous rings, ladies! I’m so happy to have joined the moissanite family.  🙂   We got my ring three days ago and I still can’t stop staring at it. Lol.  

Mine is a 6.5mm (one carat) Forever Brilliant round halo (halo is .18 carat) set in palladium. Size 6.25. It sparkles like no tomorrow! I’ve already banged it really hard (by accident!) onto an iron faucet and there’s not a scratch, ding, or mark anywhere on it. Love!

Just got engaged! Mine’s a 6.5 mm Forever Brilliant, with two 0.1 ct side stones on a 7.5 band! From Joseph Schubach jewelers in Arizona—they were lovely to work with.

I have to say that I love the sparkle on my moissy.  Im not an avid diamond looker, so I didnt know how a diamond behaved.  I used to think my cousin’s ring was gorgeous till I got my moissy.  I love anything sparkly… glitter, sequins, rhinestones, it all attracts my eye.  After always looking at my ring now I think my cousins flawless diamond looks cold to me, and lacks sparkle.  If youre a diamond lover, it wouldnt be a good fit for you, but I love sparkle and a moissy is a perfect fit for me.  The wedding is this saturday and for the past year, I still cannot take my eyes off of it.  I can’t wait to add my sparkly wedding band this saturday!

Hi all! My honey proposed 2 days ago and this is my ring. I LOVE it! It’s eng527 from moissaniteco and it has a 7.5mm unenhanced center stone and it’s a 7.25.

1.25ct (7mm) Forever Brilliant round-cut center stone in a 3mm scalloped band from MoissaniteBridal.com – size 6.   It does throw off some warm, buttery tones once in a while (usually indirect lighting), but I love the “moodiness” of the stone, and heck… most of the time it looks like these photos.  I didn’t want a diamond, but I did want a white stone so it would match with everything.  The science geek in me fell in love with the fact that these little beautiful originated from a meteor.  If you are looking for a clear/white stone, the beauty, sparkle, durability, price, and lack of any ethical concerns makes moissy an absolute no-brainer alternative to a diamond. Gorgeous. 🙂
