I have an 8mm Forever Brilliant round cut on a diamond and ruby bypass band. I love my ring! It’s gorgeous and sparkly. I do like that it’s an ecologically-friendly stone and conflict-free, but I want with it because it’s cost effective and because of the look (I like the extra fire/brilliance).
I would say going in that you should not expect moissanite to behave like a diamond because they are different gems with different properties. They do look differently and behave differently (in my experience with a lower-colored stone). If you want your stone to mimic a diamond exactly, you will be disappointed.
My local jeweler was super awesome about working with my stone and complimented it frequently.
I’ve very, very happy with my moissanite overall (I love the color-change, the extra sparkles, and size of the stone) and I would 100% do it again/choose it over a diamond. That’s my personal opinion though. Bear in mind that different cuts of moissanite also perform differently. I recommend you try and see as many cuts in person ^.^

I have a moissanite. Local jewelers will work with them. Mines 11 years old and beautiful as ever. I wish I’d gotten the 6.5 mm (1 carat equivalent) vs the 7.5 mm (1.5 carat equivalent) simply because NO ONE around here has a stone that large. It looks like stand-out huge where I’m from. People have actually gasped and asked if it’s “the real thing.” Since no one knows what moissanite is or how well they hold up, I think they feel like it looks like a cheap ring pop or something. So my suggestion is to get the size you’d be comfortable wearing without people gasping lol.

I had a diamond wedding set that I lost and wasnt about to let us spend that kind of money a second time so went with moissanite to replace. Zero regrets!! Absolutely love moissanite.
We got it with moissanitco. I will say I was disappointed with the ring (never the stone) initally because I didnt count on how zoomed in everything was online. When I recieved the ring it was quite different in person….details obv so much smaller in real life etc. Once I got over that, photos vs real life I fell in love. Company was great to work with.

I totally recommend getting a moissanite! I purchased my oval moissanite from Zen Moissanite on Etsy and have been recommending them left and right! The owner was super responsive and sent me a bunch of pictures and videos to help me make my final decision!
