Today my new ring came in the mail. I took pictures of it while making sure it fit before letting my Sweetheart hide it until he gives it to me. For those of you who don’t know. I have been engaged for 2 years. We’re getting married in a year and half, after we graduate college. He proposed with my mothers ring until we could afford to get one of my own. Now he’s going to give me my new ring like a type of proposal. Not sure when or how.
Now ring specs. Size 8 ring, finger is around 8.5-.8.75 but this ring does run a little big with it being a smaller band width. Band width is 1.4mm 2 carats/8mm across Moissanite Amora Upgrade Certificate grades it as an H in color Ask if you want to know anything else
Since I don’t want to slow down your browser load, and honestly I’m not sure how to load them yet I’m going to give you the URL for my photobucket. It’s filled with photos of the ring and there are several videos. They uploaded backwards, so if you start from the end it has the best pictures and the opening process.
The pictures were taken with my phone. The first half of the photos were taken with my peach sweater on and a pink case on my phone. After seeing how pinky-yellow it was and remembering these things I took them all off and my stone looked very white. All of these pictures were taken inside. Half right by an open window, the other half further into the room with a regular light bulb. It was very cloudy today. Oklahoma has the strangest skies and weather. I’ve very impressed with how white it looks being overcast after hearing stories. I’m pretty color sensitive, but I also like a little warmth in my stones. I will take more pictures in different lighting when I finally get the ring.
@ MelodicCallie: You ring is gorgeous. The wedding band does NOT fit flush does it? Because of how the engagement ring is designed? There is always a slight gap between the two? I love this set but am debating between it and another on MoissaniteCo and I do want my rings to fit flush.
This was a great help in posting pics. I wish they had real hand shots on the site. It looks gorgeous on you.
