@GoldfishPie: I know I’m probably waaay past time for this, but I was searching through the btd message board and found a pic of the ring you like!  I’ll give you the link and see if I can get a pic to show up on here…I joined weddingbee just so I could share it with you!

You just have to scroll down a bit.  It’s gorgeous though, one of my faves!

@FutureLeepart:  Thank you so much for posting that. I had been searching for an actual picture of that exact ring on someone’s hand for a while now and even though I’ve searched those forums I didn’t notice those pictures. The only other pictures of that one on the web are the one on moissaniteco which is obviously better than it will look in real life and that guy with the website ihatemoissaniteco which is the single most poorly taken picture of a ring I’ve ever seen. I’m glad to see it looks that beautiful in a realistic picture. Thank you so much, you just made my day and made up my mind about buying that ring.

@zephyr: That guy at I hatemoissaniteco.com looks like he took that picture in a dim room on his camera phone with no flash! Hell! I can make my ring look terrible if I really tried! lol

@Miss Tattoo: Haha, yeah. It just made me want to see what it actually looked like before buying it.

@zephyr: Glad to help.  I think I randomly hit some page on the forum and found it by accident.  It’s so beautiful I saved it to my computer–luckily I’m a long time lurker.

I am cracking up as I read these posts.  I am such an idiot! I’ve read posts by bees about their “Moissanite” rings and I often saw the Moissanite ads on WB.  They are beautiful rings! All this time, I thought Moissanite was an engagement ring designer, like Tacori.

Enlightening, to say the least.  In fact, I’m quite sure my fiance would have found this post even more enlightening 6 months ago when he dropped almost half his life savings on my diamond! 🙁

Eeeek, I want to share too! (I apologize the pics are so large!) Please ignore my strangely orange hand in the first pic, it was taken with an iPhone in a Starbucks. I have the enhanced 1ct in yellow gold and my ring size is 4.5. I LOVE it. It’s always sparkling… the pics don’t do it justice.

@GoldfishPie: I just joined WB, and the ring you posted on this thread is the ring I’m ordering!!!  It is seriously the MOST AMAZING RING EVER.  I’m getting the wedding set with the 7.5mm center stone.  sigh.  I look at it every day 🙂

@mdancer78:

Omg an oval moissy is my dream ring! Do you have any handshots? And how do you feel the color is for the enhanced oval? (sorry for so many questions)

Hi Amy…The stones sparkle like mad…especially in the sun and artificial light…when in overcast/cloudy it is not as bright/sparkley…a little tint of yellow in overcast/cloudy…but not a huge amount. I think stones over 1ct moissanite don’t come out as white due to the size..but overall it is stunning ;0))

Thanks for the extra pic, it’s stunning! I’m looking at the 7x5mm which is .95 or 1ct equivalent so I guess the color wouldn’t be too bad in that size. I don’t mind the extra warmth though. Thanks again for posting those pics, they’re the first ones I’ve seen of oval moissy in real life pictures 🙂
