(1) Does anyone have moissanite from LOGR? If so, how is the quality? Color and sparkle?
(2) Anyone opinions on which ring would look best with the ones I currently have?
(3) Pictures to share?
My wedding rings are diamond & platinum–might have gone with moissanite if I’d known about it but I knew nothing about diamonds or gemostones. Totally naive. Nevertheness, I’ve been very happy with them, but my diamond eternity band (shared-prong style) nearly beheaded my diamond solitaire. The sharp edges of the diamonds rub the prongs of the solitaire. I repaired the damage and I’m wearing them with a plain (cheap) spacer in between while I decide what to do. I don’t want to solder them together because I like how they look with space in between and I like being able wear just the eternity ring.
My idea is to get one or more spacer rings to wear in between and satisfy my desire to try moissanite at the same time. But I’m not sure if I want more platinum (or palladium, since that’s what they have on MoissaniteCo.com) or use rose gold to create a look of “space” in between the current rings (see pic). I’m thinking the rose gold might blend into my fingers and highlight the current platinum & diamond rings. Adding more platinum/palladium might blend together and look like one big ring. I’d wear one simple rose gold band against the solitaire and a rose gold eternity band between the plain rose gold band and the platinum eternity band. MoissaniteCo doesn’t offer any the eternity bands in rose gold so I looked elsewhere and discovered a some designs I really like from LOGR. They get good reviews on WeddingBee (for the price) but has anyone tried their moissanite? I want lots of sparkle since my current rings sparkle tons…so I’m nervous about LOGR using low-quality diamonds. Would small-size moissanite match okay with diamond? Mine are essentially colorless with high clarity. If the moissenite was in rose gold, perhaps that would make any “warmth” from the moissenite less obvious? And moissenite would sparkle like crazy, right? Would love your opinions and experiences and any pictures you have! And don’t hesitate to tell me mixing rose gold and platinum would be tacky. Also found a ring I like from InOurStars on Etsy–if you know anything about them please share (that is the last-posted pic, the one with vines and leaves).
While I was shopping I found a LOGR moissenite art deco solitaire ring that I love! But that’s a large moissenite so stone quality would matter more for that ring, right? Thoughts? Don’t care about passing it off as a diamond but want it to be pretty!
Thanks!!! Really appreciate any advice!
