I have no advice but I am OBSESSED with the true gem Jennie solitaire. Lol. I need it in my life. I look at their insta daily lol. From what I’ve seen both look very similar i can’t tell the difference. I’ll go for the g-h if I ever get my dream Jennie lol

I find the f1 and colorless moissy too cold and steely. I thought I wanted one until I saw them at a jeweller. I would encourage  you to view some in.person. Instead I chose a near colorless which  I.am as pleased with

The options for moissy on TTG site for the Taylor cushion are the C&C F1 either colorless or near colorless. I have seen both in person and I did not see a color difference. Talking with the true gem they have said they cannot see a difference either. However, their line of moissy is F-G color I believe and you would need to order it through email with them. Are you planning on getting TTG moissy or C&C?

My ring is custom Taylor solitaire (still being made) with an old mine cushion true gem moissy. From seeing them in person the modern cushion true gem moissy looks colorless and it flashed a lot less rainbow/disco ball than the C&C but was so sparkly and clear. The true gem OMC does show some color but that’s part of what I love about it!

Production is almost complete and the wait is killing me! I will be sure to share photos when I can.

I just ordered my ring from The True Gem yesterday! I went through the C&C vs. TG moissy talk with someone who was very very informative. She said that C&C cuts their moissy’s in more of a brilliant cut making them more fiery and rainbow color. TG cuts their moissy’s with a more modern cut making them more diamond like in appearance. I’m not sure what measurements you are looking at but another thing about the C&C was that you couldn’t get modified measurements. For example my options for a C&C radiant cut was 9×7 or 10×8. TG moissy’s can be custom cut to certain sized and I wanted a more elongated shape so I went with a TG 10×7.5 radiant cut. I was looking at a radiant cut TG moissy while I was on the phone with her and I really couldn’t imagine anything shining and sparkling more than that! Another thing to consider is cost effectiveness. The TG Moissy was much more budget friendly. And I honestly felt that if they were customizing my ring and the customer service was spectacular I wanted to go with their Moissy instead of outsourcing. We went with a Taylor band in rosegold with white gold prongs and a 10×7.5 TG Moissy. I am so excited!!!

heytherebrittany :  the modern cut is the term they use for the way they cut their facets

heytherebrittany :  No we did not order from the website since we wanted to much customization as well as professional input. We were emailing back and forth with one of the designers and then I called and thats when I was explained the differences of the TG and the C&C moissanites. I highly recommend calling if you are ready to customize and order your ring. It was very helpful to ask questions and get input from them. I wasn’t sure about the size of the gemstone or if the two toned metals would look good and it really gave me piece of mind to get their imput over the phone and customize the order. My FH was then sent the invoice 10 minutes after the phone call with them.

heytherebrittany :  I believe the modern cushion is their equivalent to crushed ice because they have modern briliant cushion in both elongated and square.

This one is an elongated modern briliant that I tried on in person and it was so pretty I almost changed my mind haha

But they also have a lot of square ones if you search #truegemmoissanite os instagram.

bmorell :  I felt this way too when we ordered my ring! They were so amazing when we visited that I wanted to support their business and product and I actually liked their moissanite better when compared to C&C. Part of this is because I wanted and old cut. Your ring sounds gorgeous, can’t wait to see it!

I’d absolutely go for warmer given your taste that you’ve described. Especially if you’re going with rose gold. Although tbh i think you should check out some lab created diamonds too, especially if your main reason is ethics and you’re leaning towards a warmer stone (cheaper in warm stones) because a lot of the warmer moissanite starts getting a green cast to it the farther away you get from E-F and you said green wasn’t your thing. Idk where you are but if you’re US I know helzberg carries F1. What size are you going for?

I have a moissaniteco e-f and I don’t feel like it looks really cold. It does have blue flashes (which I wanted) but it also has yellow and red flashes that I don’t really see much of my diamonds.
